What we can review

Technical RFQ scope

marine spare parts

Marine spare parts are reviewed against maker reference, equipment model and any photos or drawings you can send.

industrial spare parts

For industrial spare parts, a part number, maker reference or old order line is usually enough to start the check.

obsolete parts

For obsolete parts, a part number, maker reference or old order line is usually enough to start the check.

pump parts

Pump parts are checked against the pump model, shaft size and material, since impeller profiles vary by casting revision.

engine parts

RFQs for engine parts go quicker with the engine type/model, serial number and a parts-book reference if you have one.

valves

For valves, send the body size, port connection and pressure class where known, plus a nameplate photo if available.

sensors

Sensors RFQs are handled fastest with the type code and connection thread visible on the nameplate or old order.

hydraulic components

We review hydraulic components against port configuration, pressure rating and any revision marked on the unit.

compressor parts

Compressor parts are checked against compressor model, stage and serial number, since running gear varies by build revision.

refrigeration parts

For refrigeration parts, a part number, maker reference or old order line is usually enough to start the check.

deck machinery parts

For deck machinery parts, the unit model, reduction ratio and serial number narrow the search faster than a part name alone, since similar-looking units can share a family name but differ in internal gearing.

FAQ

RFQ questions

What information should I send for a marine spare parts quote?

Send the part number, maker, equipment model, serial number, quantity, photos or drawings, delivery location and urgency.

Can you review requests using old part numbers or photos?

Yes. We can review RFQs using old references, nameplates, photos, drawings or previous supply documents.

Do you represent the listed brands?

Passat Gear Trade is an independent sourcing company. Brand names are used for identification purposes only.

Can you help with obsolete or hard-to-find parts?

We can review obsolete and hard-to-find part requests when enough technical information is available.

What if I don't know the exact part number?

A nameplate photo, a marked drawing, dimensions, or even a photo of the worn part is often enough to start a technical review. Include the equipment maker and model if you have them — that narrows the search considerably even without a part number.

Do you handle international delivery and customs documentation?

Yes. Once an RFQ is confirmed we coordinate documentation, packing and delivery for vessels, shipyards and industrial sites, including customs and freight handoffs — see the About page for more on how that process works.

Who should I contact for my specific request?

General RFQs can go through this form. For a request that already belongs with a specific function — pricing follow-up, technical part review, shipping documents, or invoicing — the Our Team page lists direct contacts for each.
