How we handle Wartsila requests

Wartsila RFQs span both the current engine range — 20, 25, 31, 32, 34DF and 46F families in cylinder configurations from 6L to 18V — and the older Vasa-series engines (Vasa 22, 32, 46) still running on vessels built before 2010, where parts are no longer stocked as standard and need to be checked against drawings or old references. We review the technical information first so the inquiry can be checked against the requested part, engine configuration and delivery need.

Customers can send part numbers, maker references, equipment model data, serial numbers, nameplates, photos, drawings, old offers or previous supply documents. We review the information before quoting so the request is handled as a technical procurement task rather than a generic product search.

How to send a useful Wartsila RFQ

Attach the clearest technical information available. A single photo of a nameplate, an old offer line or a marked drawing can prevent delays when there are similar models, revisions or connection types.
